Logo test

Based on the survey results, Option B was chosen as the winning logo for a film production company. Out of 50 respondents, 31 chose Option B while only 19 chose Option A. The primary reason for this preference seems to be nostalgia and familiarity. Respondents mentioned that they recognized the old Orion Pictures logo and had positive memories associated with it. They also found Option B to be more easily readable and appealing due to its classic look and space-themed background. In comparison, respondents who preferred Option A mentioned that they liked its modern design and bold colors, but these characteristics were not enough to overcome the overwhelming preference for nostalgia.

The top three topics that were important across all options were color, readability, and design style. Many respondents commented on the colors used in each option - some preferred bold and bright colors while others preferred more muted or classic color schemes. Readability was also a common topic among respondents; many felt that it was important for a film production company's logo to be easily readable so that it could be recognized quickly by viewers. Finally, design style was another important topic - some respondents preferred modern designs while others favored more classic or retro styles.

Based on these poll results, further hypotheses could be tested related to consumer preferences for film production logos based on age demographics or viewing habits (e.g., streaming vs cinema). It would also be interesting to test whether familiarity with a particular logo has an impact on consumer preferences when choosing between different options with varying designs/styles/colors/etcetera.
